Business owner, digital enthusiast and dog lover, Dawn Farrow is the Managing Director of performance marketing agency Boom, which was awarded the Best Business Award’s Best New Business, made number 53 in the top 100 Start Ups, and was shortlisted for the UK Agency Awards.
Dawn was recognised in the Best Leader in Marketing award from Women In Marketing 2016, she featured in Management Today’s Top 50 women in business, and was nominated for Guardian Small Business Leader of the Year in 2015.
Before creating her own style of full service agency, Dawn created campaigns internationally in her time as a marketing director and head of department for some of the country’s biggest producers including IMG, Sonia Friedman, Sir Cameron Mackintosh and created campaigns for worldwide live entertainment productions such as Kenwood House Music Festival, The Udderbelly and Wonderground Festivals and Doctor Who Live (Arena Tour) to name a few.
Richard has worked extensively in professional theatre, founding Compass Theatre Company in the 1980’s. He has been General Manager at Bill Kenwright Ltd, Chairman of AKA Marketing and served for 7 years on the TMA Council of Management as well as the Finance and Marketing committees.
Richard is founder and managing director of The Limelight Group. He works for the global merchandise arm and also as a producer and creator of children’s stage shows including Peppa Pig worldwide, Octonauts UK and US, and new for 2017, Teletubbies.
SOPHIE CORNISH MBE
Sophie Cornish is co-founder of online marketplace notonthehighstreet.com. Launched in 2006, it supports 5,000 of the UK’s most creative small businesses and connects them with millions of customers.
Sophie is a shareholder, director and strategic advisor for a number of fast-growth UK businesses in the creative, digital and retail sectors. She is a partner and director of Busby & Fox; and she is a director and advisor at Doodle Productions, producers of the BBC CBeebies series Messy Goes to Okido.
Sophie has co-authored two bestselling books: Build A Business From Your Kitchen Table, 2012, and Shape Up Your Business, 2014. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2013 Birthday Honours.
