The Team



Entrepreneur and digital enthusiast Dawn Farrow is the founder and Managing Director of Boom ents, which was awarded the Best Business Award’s Best New Business and made number 53 in the top 100 Start Ups.
In November 2016 Dawn was recognised for the Best Leader in Marketing award from Women In Marketing. She has also been shortlisted for Management Today’s 35 women under 35, the illustrious power-list that celebrates Britain’s highest-flying business women, and in 2015 she was nominated for Guardian Small Business Leader of the Year.



Richard has worked extensively in professional theatre, founding Compass Theatre Company in the 1980’s. He has been General Manager at Bill Kenwright Ltd, Chairman of AKA Marketing and served for 7 years on the TMA Council of Management as well as the Finance and Marketing committees.
Richard is founder and managing director of The Limelight Group. He works for the global merchandise arm and also as a producer and creator of children’s stage shows including Peppa Pig worldwide, Octonauts UK and US, and new for 2017, Teletubbies.



Boom’s talented and diverse team have over 35 years in combined entertainment marketing and promotions experience. Drawing from a range of backgrounds from theatre and dance, to comedy and live events; the team work across the UK and internationally to expertly deliver unforgettable marketing campaigns.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is a faithful adaptation of the much loved children’s story by Eric Carle. The production wiggled into the West End for a run at The Ambassadors Theatre before heading off on a UK tour. To ensure exceptional sales, Boom has built a campaign that brings the story to life and establishes the brand as a new live experience.
Showstopper! The Improvised Musical


Already an established theatrical fringe hit, Boom gave Showstopper! The Improvised Musical a West End re-brand. For the new concept creation, Boom printed 5 foot high polystyrene letters to promote the appeal of the show’s spontaneity while maintaining the credibility of a professional theatrical production.
All or Nothing 2017

Trainspotting Live


Trainspotting Live opened with a bang at The Vaults, with help from Boom’s punchy full service marketing campaign including a poster design which played homage to the original iconic film poster. The legendary 80’s musical Footloose is back for 2017! Gareth Gates and Maureen Nolan will #CutLoose once more, with Boom providing the full service campaign for the return of this smash hit tour, including a West End run at the Peacock Theatre.

Boom created the eerie artwork for London’s spookiest immersive experience, Goosebumps Alive at The Vaults. This promenade production led the audience through twisted worlds in a nightmarish reimagining of R.L. Stine’s 90’s cult series.

As the full-service agency for BBC Countryfile Live, Boom secured a promotions first with the UK’s leading equine food brand, Spillers. This included an in-store promotion of the event in 1500 equestrian retailers nationwide.
